Returned Shipments
Rates SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Orders are processed on a first come first served basis and normally require 24 hours for processing and creation. Orders placed on weekdays before 3:00 pm are shipped the next business day. We are not open Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Any orders received during these days will be processed and created on the next business day and shipped the following morning. During peak holiday periods such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, etc., orders may take 1 to 4 business days for processing depending on volume. Multiple basket orders should be placed early enough to allow for production time. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. Local Saturday deliveries are available in off-peak seasons for an additional fee. At this time Sunday and holiday deliveries are not available.
Additional charges will also apply for rush and
time-specific deliveries where applicable. You will be
contacted with rates.
We recommend that all orders be sent to a business address so that the courier may obtain a signature upon delivery. Without a phone number and complete address, including apartment/suite number, hospital room number, etc., your order may be delayed or may be returned as non-deliverable. If no one is there to receive delivery, our courier will make the decision concerning the safety of the location to safe-drop the package. We do our absolute best to make certain that your order arrives on the day you requested. However, due to the large volume of parcels being shipped out during the busy holiday season, our carriers cannot guarantee shipping dates. To avoid disappointment, please order early.

Deliveries to Hospitals, Schools, Retirement Homes, and the like...
Highland Hill Creative will not be held responsible for baskets that have to be delivered to shipping and receiving or mail rooms, as is the case with hospitals, retirement homes, large corporate offices, colleges and universities, etc., but not forwarded to the recipient by the accepting facility. For delivery to hospitals, please include the recipient’s room number and ensure that they are not scheduled for discharge within the delivery window. There are restrictions on what is permissible in Intensive Care Units. If the recipient is in ICU, please contact the hospital to inquire about their policies before you place your order.

Returned Shipments
We are not liable for wrong or incomplete addresses. We will contact the sender if a parcel is returned to us. If it is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the sender, we can re-ship the parcel at an additional freight cost. If the sender decides to cancel the order, a credit will be issued, less a 20% re-stocking fee. However, the original shipping or delivery charges are not refundable. Re-shipping a package will incur new shipping charges plus a handling fee of 15% to cover gift inspection, replacement of any items, rewrapping and repackaging for shipping.

Some of the areas in GTA are outside of the courier’s delivery area and will incur extra charges. We will contact you if this is the case and the order can be shipped with either FedEx or Canada Post.
Depending on the destination point, shipping outside of the Greater Toronto Area is through either FedEx or Canada Post. Please be aware that Ground Delivery provides an estimated delivery date, not a guaranteed delivery date. Shipping time does not include the day of order. Shipping charges are per gift.

These shipping times are estimates. Rural destinations require additional time and additional fees may also apply. A residential delivery will incur a fee of $3.25 per package and includes home-based businesses. We are not liable for wrong or incomplete addresses.
